Candidates

Whether you are a partner with a book of business looking for a larger or more targeted platform; an accomplished attorney looking for that fresh start; a junior associate seeking more sophisticated work or a better fit, or anywhere in between, we have covered it all, making successful legal matches in a wide range of practice specialties, both locally and nationwide.

  • We take the time to get to know our candidates personally to understand what your career goals are and what is suitable for your qualifications, experience and professional interests. We help you navigate the decision about whether and how to make a move. Above all, we are committed to finding your best fit.
  • Utilizing our extensive contacts with the decision makers at law firms and corporations both locally and nationally, we provide information about opportunities and counsel to assist in evaluating and comparing employers.
  • We take a career planning approach to supporting candidates through the search process. Changing employment is a weighty decision. We help lawyers determine what they want more of or less of in the next position. We will work with you to develop a realistic job change strategy.
  • When we have determined that a lawyer is a good prospect for one, or even many, of our clients, we will make a referral which highlights the strengths of the candidate in the light of the employer's specific need and hiring criteria.
  • We work with our candidates through each step of the process by providing resume evaluation, interview coaching, evaluation of job offers and counter offers, consideration of start dates, and analysis of salary and benefit particulars.
  • There is of course no charge for any of our candidate services.
  • Every communication is held in strictest confidence and your resume will never be released to any potential employer without your specific consent.

Ethics

Our agency has been a member of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants since our founding in 1990. We endorse its Code of Ethics which prescribes relations with employers and candidates. Specifically, to name two basic tenets of the Code, this agency shall refer candidates only with the candidate's express prior consent and shall not exert undue influence on the candidate. Employers and candidates should ask about NALSC membership before engaging or enlisting the services of a recruiter. NALSC membership insures that referrals are not made without authorization and that the search firm abides by industry standards and a fee resolution process that protects the interests of candidates and employers.
